15 June 2007. The final 5th project meeting took place in Chisinau on 11th June 2007. The meeting was devoted to discussion of the Action Programme and farther actions by the end of the project (31st October 2007) and possible follow up.
25 May 2007.15th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum took place in Prague, the Czech Republic on 21-23 May 2007. Mr Constantin Mihailescu (Minister of the MoE of the Republic of Moldova), Mrs Tamara Guvir (MoE of the Republic of Moldova), Mr Ivan Ignatiev (NGO “Ecospectrum”), Mr Ilya Trombitski (NGO “Eco-Tiras”), Mr Mykola Babych (Deputy Head of the State Water Management Committee of Ukraine), Mrs Svitlana Slesarenok (NGO “Mama-86-Odessa”), Mr Bo Libert (UNECE) and Ms Tamara Kutonova (OSCE) took part in it. The “Dniester-II” project was presented in the frame of the ENVSEC side event.

14 April 2007. The second round of the public consultations in the frame of the project took place in Odessa on 13 April 2007. The Regulation on public and stakeholders participation at the meetings of the Plenipotentiaries and the Action Programme to improve transboundary cooperation and sustainable management of the Dniester River in 2007-2009 were the topics for discussion at the meeting. Some 35 participants from 5 oblasts belonging to the Dniester river basin as well as colleagues from Chisinau took part in the consultations.
13 April 2007. A group of doctors from Chisinau and Tiraspol met with the staff of the Odessa oblast sanitary-epidemiological station in Odessa on 11 and 12 April 2007. The Regulation on cooperation on the sanitary-epidemiologicalcontrol in the transboundary waters (the Dniester and the rivers of the Black Sea basin) was discussed during the first day. On the second day the doctors had the first joint trip to take samples from the same place.
